Hello! I’m April, a Filipina artist based in Toronto, Canada. Besides creating art, I work as an analyst, I am the youngest of two siblings, and I’m newly married (2024).
My Story
I have always loved art & painting, never math. When I was young-er, I was the one doing the art workbook exercise ahead of time. I drew Looney Tunes characters in my elementary days, and I remember my classmates offering to buy them from me with their lunch money. I don’t know why I believed that I couldn’t make a living with my art when I became an adult. And now in my mid-30’s, here I am, believing I can!
Here I am
I am in a place where I not only just want to start my own business, but I want to create something that people would love to have in their homes or offices. I want to create something that sparks a happy memory or an inspiration.
